ON SATURDAY MARCH 14, 2009 OVER 1000 LOCAL CITIZENS CAME OUT TO HELP BEAUTIFY THE CITY OF ROSARITO BY VOLUNTEERING TO PICK UP TRASH ALONG THE MAIN STREET OF TOWN. THE TURN OUT WAS MORE THAN EXPECTED AND THE RESULTS WERE OBVIOUS. IT WAS A DAY THAT THE PEOPLE OF ROSARITO JOINED TOGETHER TO SHOW THAT THERE IS CIVIC PRIDE AND TO BE A VISUAL RESPONSE TO THE SLANTED JOURNALISM THAT HAS DEPICTED THE TOWN AS UNSAFE.
